The Shamlian internship program attracts students from across the country who want to work on the cutting edge of marketing and design.
Our interns can make major contributions in the areas of strategy, creative and technology, and serve our clients as valued members of a close-knit team. We look for innovative, positive, highly-motivated talents who share our desire to create compelling messages and to bond with customers in moving, meaningful ways.
We offer internship opportunities in the following disciplines:
• marketing & branding
• graphic design
• design for web and mobile
• copywriting and publicity
• social media
• photography & video
• content strategy
• project management
• business development
Commitment to our Interns:
Students work with agency principals in an open studio environment. A team approach to creative development and business decisions means interns are involved in or exposed to diverse aspects of our work, particularly in their chosen field. To make the most of your time with us, we work with you to define your role, set goals, assess your progress, and create a supportive and inspiring environment.
Internships are available year-round, last a minimum of 10 weeks, and require at least 120 hours. Flexible hours accommodate most schedules. Students working on client projects are paid according to the scope of their contribution. We work with your school to ensure credit for your work. Interns receive a letter of recommendation, portfolio samples, ongoing support during your job search, and when the fit and opportunity are right, a job offer.
We are located in the picturesque community of Media, PA – roughly 30 minutes by car or train from center city Philadelphia. Tree-lined neighborhoods and a genuinely friendly vibe make working here a true pleasure. A lively arts scene, popular music festivals such as the Roots Ramble, and weekly outdoor dining events are why Philadelphia Magazine rated Media as one of our region’s “Best Places to Live.” Our sunny studio is just a short walk to dozens of restaurants and shops, or a lovely wooded area with paths, a pond and gazebo. It’s where we do some of our best work.
Here’s your chance to make love, not advertising. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume, portfolio samples (for creative positions) and a clear, concrete description of what you would most like to do, and learn, during your internship.
